What we collect, and why

Your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, and whatever you write in the message. Nothing else, and no field on this site is hidden from you.

We use it to answer your request, to book a site visit, and to put a price in writing. That is the whole purpose.

The form sends one email to Chosen Finish Carpentry. The delivery is handled by Resend, an email service with servers in the United States, and the email lands in our own inbox at info@chosenfc.com.

A copy of that email also goes to the agency that built this website and keeps it running. They receive your name, your email address, your phone number and your message, and they use them only to check that the form is working and to fix it when it is not. If you want to know who they are, ask us and we will tell you.

Resend keeps a record of messages it sent for 30 days, which is how we can tell whether your message arrived. After that it is gone from there. The email itself stays in our inbox for as long as we need it to do the work and keep our own records.

We do not sell your information, and we do not hand it to anyone for advertising.

The site allows five submissions per hour from the same internet connection, so that nobody can flood the inbox. Your IP address is held in the server memory only long enough to count those five, and it is never attached to your message or written to a database.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media trackers. There is no consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to.

The site is served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs of requests, the same way any web host does.

If what we do with your information changes, this page changes on the same day, and the date at the top moves with it.
