Working with us
Do you paint the work?
No. We build and fit the carpentry and leave it filled and sanded, ready for your painter. Painting and staining are done by others.
Who supplies the material?
In most cases the homeowner or the general contractor supplies it. We can supply it as well, so say which you would prefer when you ask for a price.
Do you work on new builds or only renovations?
Both. New houses and renovations of houses that are already lived in.
Do you work from a drawing, or do you draw the work?
Both. We work from your drawings or your designer's, and where the work needs it we produce the technical drawing for our own part, such as a wall unit or a run of wall panelling. We work alongside homeowners, interior designers and general contractors on the rest of the project.
How long does the work take?
It depends on the size of the house, the number of doors and windows, and how much of the work is custom. Those three change the timeline enough that there is no typical number worth quoting before we have seen the job.
Is there a minimum job size?
No. A single room and a whole house are both work we take.
